I looked out the window and what did I see...

Daddy snow blowing the big long driveway.

We're still waiting for SPRING to bring us such a nice surprise....
so for now, snow flakes are falling right before our eyes.

"Oh Butter"

NEVER
leave butter out if you have a dog....
it only leads to BAD news!
So you all saw how Lexi ate an entire stick of butter the other day?
Well, it was NOT pretty coming out! I left the house for a couple hours yesterday to go to Discovery Gateway with my sister-in-law. (soon to be posted) When I came home, I found a NOT so pleasant surprise! Luckily I had put her in the back room where she likes to sleep so it wasn't ALL over the house...but it definitely was ALL over that room!
I am NOT good with cleaning up these sort of messes, that is Robbie's job. When it comes to throw-up, major blow-outs, or even a leftover in the fridge that has become unidentifiable...Robbie is the man to take care of it.
One of the reasons I married him.
So any of you out there with dog's... learn from my mistake. NEVER let your dog have butter!

On a side note: Who else thought the black dude on American Idol last night was so funny! I felt so bad for him when Simon gave him attitude. Like he has any control over how low his voice is!
He was my fav.

a little somethin

I know I have been a little boring since the holidays have passed, but here are a few random things that have been going on...

Taryn discovered her artistic side by using
pens
bows
markers
and
chocolate
to paint herself.

Rock Band has taken over our lives.

Taryn's buddy Ava came to play... they are so cute together!

Taryn for some reason now refers to herself as "GEEN." Anytime she see's a picture, video, or a reflection of herself that's all she says over and over again!
"GEEN, GEEN, GEEN!"

An entire stick of butter disappeared last night.
The culprit could be...

a doggy by the name of Lexi.

I think every day since Christmas we have made Panini's
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm delicious!

Have I mentioned that this guy was found?

-thank you brooke!-

And that about covers it.

Blah to January

Is it just me or is January a depressing month? It's like as soon as New Years is over...reality hits. The decorations come down (which I'll admit is refreshing) but there is absolutely NOTHING to do! I think it should be mandatory for everyone to take a vacation during this grey boring month. It's no wonder everyone gets sick this time of year, we can't just go outside and get some fresh air...it's FREEZING! I'm more than ready for spring to arrive bringing blue sunny skies, flowers to add some color, and to have a reason to shave my legs. ;)

Oh how I miss you right now precious tulips!

I'm almost willing to go back to THIS
so I can have THIS.

But for now...I'll enjoy

THIS.

Just chugging some Fresca in a baby bottle

Rockin' out

The girl band was WAY cooler than the boys.

New Year Kisses

I LOVE PARTIES!

Check out those moves

And here's a better view of those sweet moves...

video

There's nothing better than dancing on New Year's Eve in pajama's at 10:30 on a homemade kitchen dance floor.

We had the lights
the music
the speakers
All that was missing was the fog machine

There's always next year!
