What's your guess?

What's RED and WHITE

and FULL of

EXCITEMENT?

Taryn’s

HALLOWEEN

Costume.

Can you guess what she is going to be???
(That is if you are NOT my family who already knows!)

Hint: This picture is only a small portion of what she will be wearing...

This is the best picture I could get of her! She's such a

Busy Bee

...it's hard to get her to hold still for

2 SECONDS!!!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Am I the only adult that still does this? For breakfast one of my favorite things to eat is a bowl of Rice Krispies or Kix cereal (or something that's just plain.) Then I scoop up about 3-5 large spoonfuls of sugar and load it on top. The best part is to mix it up so a bunch lays on the bottom of the bowl, then you save it until all the cereal is gone...then scoop up the leftover sugar and enjoy it's yumminess! Not the healthiest choice, I know, but dang good!

+ = GOOD

I guess you could say that my mom wasn't very strict when it came to what we ate. For example... my brother Taylor. He was THE WORST sleeper of all time. When he was little the only way he'd stay in his crib was if he had a Pop Tart in his hand. Always a Cinnamon Pop Tart. Those things will forever make me think of my brother. Anyway, my mom would give in because hello...she had a 15 month old toddler that refused to sleep along with a 2 month old baby to take care of. I'd give in too! So a couple years later came a trip to the dentist that ended with another appointment for a ROOT CANAL...for a 3 YEAR OLD. Lesson to this story, don't let your kids have pop tarts in their cribs.

But for me, I'll keep my ways until my metabolism gives in and the foods I eat begin to take their toll.

That will be a sad day.

Singing like a rock star

I've been teaching Taryn how to sing itsy bitsy spider and she loves to do it over and over again. Now that she's caught onto using her voice for "singing," she does it A LOT. Last night as we had dinner with everyone at my parents house, she was quite the entertainer. Singing and swaying her arms and all with a serious face. That is until we smiled and laughed...then it was all giggles. I love this age, even though she is "into everything," it's so fun to see how much she is learning everyday!

*Don't pay attention to the mess, remember I have a little monster roaming my house.
