Consider the sweet tender children

"The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace" - Exodus 14:14

This is one of my favorite songs.  It was sung by one of our relatives at my Dad's funeral.  It holds a tender place in my heart... today I heard it driving up to Primary's to pick up Robbie.  I never payed much attention to this verse, but it really hit me today and made me very teary.

Still does.

"Consider the sweet, tender children
Who must suffer on this earth.
The pains of all of them He carried
From the day of His birth."

I loved hearing this in Conference this past Fall.  That was only 3 weeks before Tenley was diagnosed.  I can't describe how grateful I am for this Gospel and all the peace and comfort it brings to me.  I can't imagine going through this life without it.

"And He will heal those who trust Him,
And make their hearts as gold."

I absolutely love that song. I sang it at my grandma's funeral and it was such a spiritual experience for me. It was good seeing you for two seconds today. You looked beautiful

That is also my favorite hymn. I loved being with your sweet tender baby today. Thank you for sharing her with me. It is a priviledge.

I love that song too and I have never noticed that verse as much as well. But how powerful it is, especially for little Tenley. He is watching over you and loves you and Tenley.
