a birthday weekend

Robbie turned 28 big ones this Friday and to celebrate I took him up to Park City for the weekend. We spent the night (Tarynless) at the Silverado Resort, wandered and shopped the outlets, and ate dinner at the Riverhorse. Which was DELISH! Our food was awesome and the entertainment was superb. The plan was to do the alpine slide and coaster but they have closed for the season! Can you believe that Robbie has never been on either of these!! So you can imagine how bummed I was to find out they weren't an option. But...we still had loads of fun! It was the first night we didn't have Taryn with us and I missed her. She spent the day with Grandma GoGo (Margo) and then Saturday evening and night with my mom and family. Lisa and Brett played house when they all went out to dinner and hopefully she made enough of an impression on them to create their own adorable baby :) It was nice to spend time with just the two of us and SLEEP IN! Actually, I couldn't sleep past 8, but that's sleeping in for me.
So back to the point...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBBIE

and
I LOVE YOU!

It came and went within 24 hours.

The snow is what I'm referring to. A big surprise awaited us Sunday morning and as I woke up to get ready for church the windows looked white and bright (a little too bright.) Well, that's because there was 3 INCHES OF SNOW outside! So we're skipping fall this year? I hope not! Luckily it was almost completely melted by the time we got home from church. Now I'm hearing this upcoming weekend it's suppose to be sunny 70's. Yay...now that's my kind of weather.

And here is the Tarbug in her CUTE dress from the D.I. You can't really see it, but I thought she looked too adorable to not snap a picture. I can't believe she's big enough to go to nursery. I mean I love that I can actually sit and listen in Relief Society now, but I'm always wanting to go check on her to see how she's doing.

My little baby is growing up... :(

Amber will PUMP YOU UP!

Saturday night we (the girls) attended our friend Amber's "Fitness Competition." She has been training for the past 6 months and WOW did she look amazing! We went all out and made shirts and posters that had some pretty clever sayings on them.

Team Amber!

My favorite - GO GLUTES!!

Before the show - Amber is like a cute little
Oopma Loompa!

Some of the VERY muscular men.

This guy was CRAZY huge, his thighs were MASSIVE!

Natalie and Kim giving their best muscle shot.

Some of the other girls.

Our AWESOME posters.

And these are the best pictures I got of Amber...not the best quality.

But here's a video to really embarrass her! - I think she should have taken
FIRST PLACE!!

Amber's cute hubby Brian gave her flowers after everything was FINALLY over.

A warm win for Olympus, a cold night for everyone else!

My brother Taylor got to play in the Olympus High Homecoming game this past Friday and I think his sister's are his BIGGEST fans! He had some awesome plays and probably even heard us screaming in the process. This game was fun, but COLD. Seriously bone chilling COLD. Luckily I found this adorable coat for Taryn earlier this week so she was ready for the COLD.

I want to gobble up those cheeks!

Robbie and I

Brett and Lisa

This one makes me giggle.

And how PERFECT is this picture?!?!?

CAUGHT RED HANDED

When people would tell me, "Oh be glad she's not walking yet, it's a whole new world of chaos once they do!" I thought, ya ya...I get it, but with Taryn being the first child I was so excited for her to meet this milestone. So now I am realizing exactly what all those people meant.

Take a look for yourself.

Keep in mind this all happened the same day within 5 minutes....

I've created a Monster, just in time for Halloween.

ONE DOWN, TWO TO GO

Help me out here cause I'm losing my mind!

Ok, so I've been collecting the Wizard of Oz toys they've been giving in Happy Meals at McDonald's and there are only THREE left that I need! Today is the last day they are giving them out and I've called pretty much every McDonald's around town speaking to Mexican's who hardly know English asking what toys they have left. I guess you could say I have a case of the "Beany Baby Disease!" Remember the obsession people had with those things! (I know my mom had one...) Anyway so basically I'm asking for my fellow bloggers (that includes you, stalkers) to lend me a hand. If you or someone you know has the three dolls I've circled here PLEASE let me know and I will give you a great reward...that could include a free haircut by yours truly!! Yes, I am serious. You probably think I'm a weirdo, but whatever...I just want these damn dolls. Sorry for the naughty word, but I'm at my wits end and it's really consumed all of me! Ok, so be a gem and if you're driving past a McDonald's today think of me and make a quick stop for some chicken nuggets and ask if they have the Scarecrow, Tinman, or the Munchkin with a flower on her head.

Ok, that's all.

Thanks!
