Happy Halloween - Part 1

Last night we finally got around to carving our pumpkins. I'd say they turned out pretty good (especially my "trick or treat" one - that was tough!) These pictures make our door look like it's on fire...but I love how these orange lights look against the black door.

My awesome, really difficult, hand carved trophy.

with a spider and...

a bat on the sides.

The porch scene.

Everyone have a SPOOKTACULAR day and soon you'll see the pictures you've all been waiting for...

Taryn's costume in all it's glory!

Coming to the blog soon...stay posted. - ha, get it? Posted?
I kill myself.

Also, I just saw this cartoon my aunt sent me and thought it was a funny (and fitting) one.
enjoy...

We did have so many awesome Halloweens! The other day, I reached my hand into a big bowl that had been sitting in the sink with some yucky food in it and I totally had a flashback to the Fassler's Halloween parties! Remember reaching in the gross pot for some "fingers" or "eyeballs"? That was so much fun!

I love your pumpkins!

Your pumpkins are so cute. I had a friend here who put that cartoon on her blog too. I had to send it to my mom. I can't wait to see the pictures of Taryn.
